Poetry Friday: Monkey

Today's "poem" is a song from the new Veggie Tales video The Wizard of Ha's. You can read my review of the dvd here. The song is very funny and well worth the two minutes and forty seconds it will take. I promise. :) And it just happens to be written by one of all time favorite, favorite, favorite guys, Andrew Peterson (along with Randall Goodgame).

Poetry roundup is at Writing and Ruminating.

Wow. VEGGIE TALES!
Always cleverly written -- and, Larry is always silly. (Poor Bob.) Thanks for a smile.

Oh, I miss Larry and Bob! My kids and watched them like crazy when they were younger.

And now I want to go find my video of "The Pirates Who Don't Do Anything."

My kids are all huddled around the computer, enjoying the newest Larry and Bob! (We may just have to get this one...) I need to go find the Pirates song, too...

BTW, Becky, I sent you an email a few days ago. Did you get it, or is your spamblocker hyperactive, too?

Melissa:

Hi! I received your email and replied to it. Here is the message I wrote. I have resent it from yahoo and I've sent it from google just now to see if either one will reach you. But posting here too just in case!

Melissa:

I think it's a great idea. I haven't seen a multicultural
challenge out there. I know I would be interested in
participating. And I bet there would be others as well :)

Ohhhhh no, you can't trick me into clicking that! I know what happens when you hear a Veggie Tales song! It gets stuck in your head forever! I have enough Oh Where Is My Hairbrush and We Are the Pirates Who Don't Do Anything and If You Like to Waltz with Potatoes and so on stuck in my head already!
