In fact, I think one of my brothers got "Apollo 13" signed for him one year for christmas. He loved it. I feel like such a piker, even though I managed to read the latest Robert Parker, "Night and Day," finished a PD James for book club ("The Lighthouse," and just started a Barbara Vine book (never read her before -- it's called "The Birthday Present"). And I'm also reading a non-fiction book on understanding the economy, "The 21st Century Economy - A Beginner's Guide." (I wonder if I could call it "Economics for Dummies?") It sure lays everything out in an easy-to-understand fashion. You, too, can sound informed about such things as IMF, TARP and derivatives. And I'm only joking a little -- I finally feel like I understand what's going on -- too bad our hifalutin' economists can't do the same. Plus there's a glossary of terms and great free tips.Lizhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12553309379795237911noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-33553028.post-75722363230462068922009-04-27T11:19:00.000-05:002009-04-27T11:19:00.000-05:00Thank you, Molly and Sandra. We'll see how it goes.

Bellezza, there are a few differences (arrangement of how the story unfolds) that are different, but the heart and soul of the book is found in the movie--in my opinion.

Chris, I'm liking House of Scorpion so far. You'll probably enjoy it. I can't imagine you not :)

Janssen, yes, it was great :) It's one of those series that just amazes me.

L. I'll get to it soon, I promise.
