This week's recommendation(s):

I loved the world-building of The Castle Behind Thorns. (I also loved what it had to say about forgiveness.)

I loved the depth of characterization in This Side of Home.

I loved the language and imagery of Their Eyes Were Watching God.

Even though The Paper Cowboy was an uncomfortable read, one that had me aching in places, I couldn't help loving it all the same.
