  1. This is such a neat idea! I'm in - four cousins/four birth years: 1949, 1950, 1952, 1960. My post about the challenge is here:

  8. I am joining in on the fun. Plan to read a book from each decade starting with 1940 all the way to 2010. I will list the family members once I get them narrowed down to the year. I will post on Goodreads.

  9. Here's my sign-up post: https://bookendcrossing.blogspot.com/2018/01/family-tree-reading-challenge.html

I chose family members who are/were the youngest child in the family, like me. Ended up with selections from 1860 to 1991.

This is a really great idea! Kudos to you!

  10. This is a great idea. Reading and Family History are my two favorite hobbies. I’m in for sure. I read at least a book a week, and have genealogy done back to the1600s, so I’m not going to pick the specific years right now. I think I’ll just go back in a straight line? Maybe? I’m thinking maybe add a twist of books that deal with their locale or history (I like historical novels a lot), something that might have affected their lives? I don’t know, but it sounds like an adventure. Here the link to my goodreads page (I hope. I’m not sure I did it right). https://www.goodreads.com/review/list/2336641?shelf=read

  11. Haha! It just occurred to me that reading a book from the year they were born would automatically make it “history” to me! I’m such a geek!
