This is such a neat idea! I'm in - four cousins/four birth years: 1949, 1950, 1952, 1960. My post about the challenge is here:

I love this! Will get myself fixed up with a blog post soon.
I'm in! I'll do my birth year, and also for my two daughters.

My years: 1992, 1969, 1966, 1947, & 1948. May do more family members if I get ambitious.
I'm in.

What a great challenge idea - I'm in ! Here's my post: http://www.readathomemom.com/p/family-tree-reading-challenge-2018.html My years are for my grandmother, parents, sister, husband, and three daughters.
I really like this. I will join.
I am joining in on the fun. Plan to read a book from each decade starting with 1940 all the way to 2010. I will list the family members once I get them narrowed down to the year. I will post on Goodreads.

I chose family members who are/were the youngest child in the family, like me. Ended up with selections from 1860 to 1991.
This is a really great idea! Kudos to you!
This is a great idea. Reading and Family History are my two favorite hobbies. I’m in for sure. I read at least a book a week, and have genealogy done back to the1600s, so I’m not going to pick the specific years right now. I think I’ll just go back in a straight line? Maybe? I’m thinking maybe add a twist of books that deal with their locale or history (I like historical novels a lot), something that might have affected their lives? I don’t know, but it sounds like an adventure. Here the link to my goodreads page (I hope. I’m not sure I did it right). https://www.goodreads.com/review/list/2336641?shelf=read
Haha! It just occurred to me that reading a book from the year they were born would automatically make it “history” to me! I’m such a geek!
