Wow, your list is unbelievalble. How do you ever read that much? I'm reading Innkheart by Cornelia Funke, and I've got Dragon Rider on my wishlist. You have several books by Rick Riordan, is he a favorie author? I might have to check him out on Amazon.com.

Right now, I do have an intimidating, overwhelming TBR list...part of it comes from me not being able to say 'no' and 'resist' books at the library...and the other comes from being lucky enough to have access to a review center of sorts. I'm part of a group (Librarians Choices) that reviews and selects the 100 best children's and Young Adult books each year. So many books, so little time...but blogging keeps me motivated.

And Rick Riordan is great, by the way. You should definitely read him.

Yeah--that's quite a list. One thing I do love about reading juvenile books is that they are quicker to read (but oftentimes just as fulfilling).

You asked about the Read to Me mission--yes I will definitely do it again, perhaps next fall or in January. My next idea is a Read WITH Me that I will kick off in June, focusing on discussing a book or books with your family (or other kids), read aloud or independently.

Sorry about the out of the blue Read to Me comment. I just popped over here in general since you had enjoyed so many of my selections, and to check out your Toys Go Out review, and then, well, I got confused and left a comment that I meant to leave on another blog. . . .

"Hello? over achievers anonymous. I have a friend who might need help..." LOL! Quite the extensive list, I'd say. A few in particular I am looking forward to the reviews. Happy Reading...

Wow! Reading your list was practically like reading a book in itself! But I have to admit that I'm more than a little jealous!
Good luck! Happy spring...and happy reading!

What a list! My goodness. You do have a point about the extra pressure of a due date with Library books.

But there's always renewal!

See, this is what I love about books (and book blogging). I can read your list of amazing books, and I've only heard of: (Terry Pratchett) or read a very few: Megan Mccafferty's (very good), and Ella Minnow Pea (I loved how the author played with words)
There are so many great books out there.
Thanks for dropping by - we had a few favorite books in common.
