My Top Ten L.M. Montgomery

Early in the year, I decided I would try to read all of L.M. Montgomery's novels; I would try to do so chronologically. I would have loved to fit in all her short story collections as well. But they are harder to fit in chronologically. I read some, but not all.

10. Jane of Lantern Hill. L.M. Montgomery. 1937. 274 pages. [Source: Bought]
9. Anne of Windy Poplars. L.M. Montgomery. 1936. 288 pages. [Source: Bought]
8. Emily of New Moon. L.M. Montgomery. 1923. Bantam. 352 pages.
7. Anne of Avonlea. L.M. Montgomery. 1909. 304 pages.
6. A Tangled Web. L.M. Montgomery. 1931. 257 pages.

Lucy Maud Montgomery also had journals that were published. I have the first one and keep meaning to read them all... I haven't yet...I really keep telling myself I should have a Montgomery year this year, but we will see how it goes. I used to own the Avonlea books and they have vanished. I would have to get some of her books back.
