Unshelved Reading Challenge

I can't remember if it was the summer readathon or the fall readathon (the first one), but one of the two introduced me to the glory that is the Unshelved Bookclub. It's a comic strip book review of sorts that is great fun. They've featured a lot of great books. (There's a new strip each Sunday.) And I was looking at the list today and thinking that this would be a great challenge or mini-challenge. To read 3 books reviewed in the Unshelved archives in four months.

Unshelved Reading Challenge
host: Becky of Becky's Book Reviews
dates: February 1, 2009 - June 1, 2009
books required: 3

Audio books welcome. Blog not required. Overlaps with other challenges allowed. Lists not required. But books must come from their archives. Remember, new books/strips are being added all the time.

I love Unshelved! (I was introduced to the wonder that is this comic when I was subbing in a high school library last year.) I don't do challenges, but if I did, I'd been signing up for this one!

I'm in, I'm in! This looks fun. I've read some of these already (6). Going to be hard to keep my list updated though!

Wow, that's a new site for me and I like it! I have 2-3 of the books in their archives in my TBR pile already. Do I have to wait until February to get started?

I'm in for this one! I read unshelved quite a bit (working in a library, we find it very funny), but I was unaware of their Sunday comic book club thing. Fun!

I'll do it. This will be my first book challenge I've done. Stranger than fiction, considering I work at a library!

I've read Unshelved for awhile now, having been introduced to it a while back by my boss. I love it!

I wasn't sure about this when I first saw it. But I've now read The Gargoyle and found others on their list I would read. Please sign me up. I will create a post asap.

I can't find your wrap up post for this challenge Becky. I didn't do very well, only one out of the three read. I think short term challenges don't work for me. But I love all the different challenge ideas you come up with. I was hoping to read your wrap up and see which books you read.

You did better than I did! Believe me. I not only didn't read anything for this one. I didn't even get any books checked out for this challenge. I think I forgot about the challenge entirely until the weekend when the challenged ended. Oh well.
